This page describes how to conduct a test.

Notes on tests

The status sometimes remains as “Studying” even after conducting a test.

If the “Submit” button is not clicked when finishing the test, the status may remain “Studying.”

  • Clicked “Temporarily save” and closed the answer screen.
  • Moved back to “Test list.”
  • Closed the browser before finishing the test.
  • Clicked the Back button on browser.
  • Accessed to the Class Support system through multiple tabs in browser.

*Be sure to click the “Submit” button when finishing the test.
The test is automatically submitted if the time limit expires while a student is answering.

*Do not open Class Support with multiple tabs or click the Back button during the test.

Check Test

This page describes the cases where there is a new test and confirming already-conducted tests.

New Test | Existing/Conducted Tests

New Test

New tests are displayed at the timeline/new arrival part of the top page of the class support system.
Clicking the name of a class listed in the new test section will display the test list screen.

Click the name of a test in the new test section to display the details screen, and then, click [To Test list].

Existing/Conducted Tests

If no new test appears at the timetable/new arrival section of the top page of the class support system, select the name of a class in the timetable and click the test in the menu shown left.

Test List

In the test list, you can start or resume a test, or display the details and the results of each test (when the faculty member in charge sets the results to be displayed).
For information about the functions, see below.

Start Test (Repeat) | Pause/Cancel Test | Resume Test | Start Test (Once) | Display Details | Display Results

Start Test (Repeat)

  1. Select [Start] from the operation box of the test that you want to conduct. Information about the test is displayed.
  2. Click [Start] after confirming the displayed information. If the time limit is set, countdown begins when the test starts. If pausing and resuming a test, the time elapsed between pausing and resuming eats into the time allowed. Note that the test is automatically submitted when the time limit has been reached.
  3. When you have answered all questions, click [Submit].
  4. A confirmation screen appears. Click [Submit].
  5. The test has been normally submitted. The process completes when the above message is displayed. This example does not show questions and answers as they are set to be hidden. If the test contains essay questions, the score will be displayed after grading.

Pause/Cancel Test

  1. You can pause a test. Click [Temporarily save].
  2. The word "Successful" appears at the top of the screen when the data has been saved.
  3. Click [Back to Test list] after completing the temporary saving task.
  4. A confirmation screen appears. Click [Yes].

Resume Test

  1. Select [Resume] from the operation box of the test that you want to conduct.
  2. Information about the test is displayed. Click [Resume] after confirming the displayed information. For information on how to submit a test, see Start Test (Repeat).

Start Test (Once)

  1. The procedure is the same as the case of Start Test (Repeat). Select [Start] from the operation box of the test that you want to conduct. If the time limit is set, countdown begins when the test starts. If pausing and resuming a test, the time elapsed between pausing and resuming eats into the time allowed. Note that the test is automatically submitted when the time limit has been elapsed.
  2. Information about the test is displayed. Click [Start] after confirming the displayed information.
  3. Since the time limit is set, the remaining time is displayed.

Display Details

  1. This feature lets you confirm details about a test. Select [Details] from the operation box of the test that you want to check.
  2. Details about the test is displayed. Check the period, deadline and test type, and then, click [Close].

Display Results

  1. Select [Confirmation of answer result] from the operation box of the test that you want to check. If the faculty member set the test results to be hidden, the results are not displayed.
  2. The scores are displayed. Click [Close] after confirming them.
