Apply for Network Access in Your Lab or Department

  • Application Form for Temporary Use of Information Outlets
    *You must log in using your keio.jp account to view the form.
    This page details the temporary use of information outlets on laboratory and department networks.
    • Procedures for Applying for Temporary Use

      1. Access the form and review the notes before clicking “Next.”

      2. Enter your applicant information and click “Next.”

      3. Enter the network administrator information and click “Next.”

      4. Please make note of the following when filling out the form:
        Building/floor/room:Please fill in all fields without leaving any blanks.
        Information outlet number:The applicant must confirm the information outlet number using the facility reservation system or in person in the lab/department.
        Start and end time:Please make a room reservation in advance and include the reservation times when filling out the form.
        Desired network:Please indicate whether the network you plan to use is global or private. (e.g., entering just “X Room Network” is not acceptable)
        Purpose of use: Please indicate the main purpose for using the network.
        If you are applying for multi-day use, select “Add Another Application,” click “Next,” and fill in the same information.
        If you are applying for single-day use, select “Apply using this information” and click “Next.”

      5. There is no cost for using this service, so you do not need to enter any payment information.
        Please click “Next.”

      6. Please enter any questions or concerns you may have and press “Submit” to complete your application.
        Please note that Shinanomachi KIC may contact the applicant after the application has been submitted.

  • Sub-Network Application Form (Activate, Update, or Deactivate)
    *You must log in using your keio.jp account to view the form.
    This page details how to activate a new network in a laboratory or department, make changes to the use of an information outlet (allocating/switching/suspending), or deactivate a current network.
    • Registration Procedures
      If the applicant is someone other than the network administrator or the organization head:

      1. Access the form and review the notes before clicking “Next.”

      2. Enter the administrator information, network administrator 1 information, and network administrator 2 information, select “Application by a person other than the network administrator or organization head” and click “Next.”
        If you want to register more than three network administrators for a new network, select “Yes” for “Enter information for a third network administrator” and click “Next.” Then input network administrator 3 information, and click “Next.”

      3. Enter your applicant information and click “Next.”

      4. There is no cost for using this service, so you do not need to enter any payment information.
        Please click “Next.”

      5. Select “Activate,” “Update,” or “Deactivate” for your application.
        (If you are unsure which of these your application falls under, please contact Shinanomachi KIC.)
        Please be as specific as possible in the details of your application and availability (dates and times) for service.
        Please also include in the name of the network whether it will be global or private. (e.g., entering just “X Room Network” is not acceptable)
        When applying for multiple information outlet numbers, please enter them separated by a comma (with a space after each comma).
        Click “Submit” to complete your application.
        Please note that Shinanomachi KIC may contact the applicant after the application has been submitted.
