Adobe ETLA License Operational Changes
Due to changes in Adobe's licensing policy, we will modify the operation of the Adobe ETLA as follows.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in optimizing our operations to ensure the continued availability of the comprehensive license.

1. Personal use license
(First PC/ owned by one full-time faculty member)
Until FY2025: Authentication using Keio ID username and optional password (ID type*1: Adobe ID)
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)
- ID type changes will be handled by KIC. You do not need to take any action yourself.
- You do not need to uninstall any applications you have already installed.
- Data on Adobe ETLA cloud storage will be migrated automatically, but please obtain a backup beforehand.
- Details on the application method will be provided separately.
2. Shared PC license
(PCs that Keio University owns and operates)
Until FY2025: Authentication using Keio email aliases*2 (ID type: Adobe ID)
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)
- You must uninstall all currently installed Adobe applications and reinstall them using the installation package provided by KIC.
- Adobe ETLA Cloud Storage will no longer be available. Please back up your data.
- As only PCs located on Keio campuses are eligible for use, access will be restricted to Keio IP addresses only.
- Details regarding the application method and PC installation process will be provided separately.
3. Shared Device License
(Campus-Installed Computers)
Mita, Hiyoshi, Shinanomachi, Yagami, Shiba Kyoritsu
Until FY2025: Authentication using ITC account
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)
From FY2026: Authentication using Keio ID (ID type: Federated ID)

Adobe ID: Managed by the individual (At Keio, authentication uses the applied ID name and your self-assigned password)
Federated ID: An organization's single sign-on account (At Keio, authentication uses your Keio ID)

*2 Keio email addresses with custom suffixes assigned to the address portion
